Bridges to GrowthBridges to Growth Resource Center offers a free library that circulates infant and toddler toys, puzzles, music, books that are not only fun, but also aid children in their learning and development. Bridges to Growth donated its toys for older children to the Georgetown Public Library recently. Check with the Children's Librarian there concerning availability.Opened in December of 1999, Bridges has already had over 15,000 visits from parents, grandparents, teachers, both pre-school and public school, mentors, and childcare providers who use the free toy lending and resource library or attend training. Bridges also provides a workroom, complete with laminator, die-cuts and copier for use by the public and offers a full calendar of workshops for childcare providers, parent education classes, and fun age-appropriate children's activities that improve parent-child communication skills, stimulate children's creativity, and boost school readiness.e-newsletter from Bridges to Growth (Bridges Buzz)Bridges has moved to the new Community Resource Center at 805 W.
